Once again we are seeing the plague spread across Azeroth. These harrowing times are a reminder of the past when the Lich King spread the plague throughout Azeroth in order to build up his armies.
Rather than spreading the plague via the grain it is strategically placed conspicuous crates that are diseased. Starting in Booty bay these crates have now been distributed througout the lands. Citizens of Azeroth can become plagued through touching these crates or from engaging in melee combat with a zombie. Once infected there is a window of ten minutes before the plague takes hold in which you can get the disease dispelled (ask a shaman, priest or paladin) or seek out an Argent Healer.
For those that fall to the plague a new undeath begins; chewing on brains and attempting to spread the infection.
Although there is some debate about the origins of these crates, one thing is certain: things are about to change! And who knows what else could happen before release of Wrath of the Lich King! |
